Join us for LibraryLinkNJ’s inaugural Futures Conference, Navigating Tomorrow: AI, Community, and the Future of NJ Libraries!
As libraries continue to evolve in a rapidly changing world, how can we embrace emerging technologies while strengthening the human connections at the heart of our communities?
Through an engaging keynote presentation and breakout sessions, we’ll explore two key themes:
The Future of Work: Explore how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), and robotics, are reshaping library workflows, professional roles, and the future of library services. We'll examine both the opportunities and challenges these technologies present.
Community & Connection: Discover evolving approaches to community engagement, social services, and creating welcoming spaces that foster belonging. We'll also explore how libraries can balance technological innovation with meaningful, hands-on, and analog experiences, including makerspaces and physical media.
Connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and explore how we can navigate the future of New Jersey libraries together!
